Childish Love
Consumed by this childish love,
Eating its way to my soul.
I see you here and I become frozen inside.
If you could only see me.

I try to swim
Motionless I can’t help but watch you pull me in.
At times I feel your presence here,
Right behind me, you’re so cold so empty.
Why must you do this to me again? (And again)
Just when I think I’m free you pull me back in.

I can see your breath now, as mine grows thin,

Breathless now things are going black again.
